Overview of items that will be covered by the fundraising campaign:

In addition to the core, statue creation, erection, and formal unveiling, project, the following associated supportive subjects & activities, three of which will assist on the centrally important educational aspect of the Memorial project:

  • A book project led by OCHD, with writer on South Asian Culture (Culture Smart Nepal – 2nd Edition lead author: in bookshops in January/February 2021), Alan Mercel-Sanca, commissioned, with direct community members input & involvement
  • A history and culture research project, whose outputs (transcultural teaching and learning information resources creation for both printed and online utilisation, and a structured multiagency related dissemination and use of the material for local area, and potential pan-South Coast, and national use)
  • A dedicated documentary
  • Aircraft display (subject to availability) and other performance on the occasion of the formal unveiling of the Memorial
